30 Antique German J. D. Kestner #164 Bisque Doll, Undamaged Head Original Body
This doll is a sight to behold! She comes with an antique hand-tied wig, antique dress, underdress, shoes and flower crown. She also comes with these wings I made of vintage Maribou feathers and antique silk on a wire frame. She has such stunning paint work with perfectly executed brows and lower lashes. Her lips are outlined like many of her French counterparts.
Her four round teeth are perfectly sized and placed, giving her the expression of an absolute angel. She measures 30 in length and has no damage to her bisque head. She does have manufacturing seems at her ears.
Her wig is not original to her, but very antique and suits her perfectly. Her pate and large brown eyes are original. Her body is all original but her feet have been repaired from the foot to the ankle.
The right is heavier than the left because it was repaired with epoxy. Her left hand was also repaired, as it was missing 3 fingers. Please review all photos for condition of her body. Her body reads Germany 6 1/2 and her head is incised Made in/ M Germany 16/ 164 / 24. Her clothes do not have buttons and are safety pinned.The wings have been safety pinned to her clothes and sit beautifully when displayed. She is just a splendid doll and waiting for the perfect home for the holiday season. She will be packed very well with head stuffed and lots of bubble wrap. You can trust that she will arrive to you safely and is described accurately.
